Update Policy is what pulls the latest app and filter settings from our servers down to your phone. Anytime we make a change for you on our end — approving an app, adjusting your filter, fixing a setting — you need to tap Update Policy in the Gentech Safe app for the change to actually take effect on your device.
Quick steps:
- Open the Gentech Safe app on your phone.
- Tap Update Policy.
- Wait for it to finish.
- Test what you were trying to do.
