This is most often a CDMA-less provisioning issue on Verizon lines. Two steps:
- Toggle Airplane Mode on, then back off — this often pulls the missing messages through immediately.
- For a permanent fix: call Verizon and ask them to remove CDMA-less features from your line and refresh the line. You may need to ask them to do this more than once.
